From the beginning, Naté didn’t envision owning a business; it was a manifestation of her deeply rooted values. Drawing inspiration from her culture and looking for ways to soothe her anxiety/depression, she embarked on a quest to curate a line of aromatherapy and self-care products that harmonized “grandma’s remedies” with urban herbalism. Liberate Botánica was born. Her formulations, crafted with meticulous care and attention to detail, are a testament to how our healing can come right from our kitchens and gardens. 

Every ingredient sourced for her products is carefully vetted to ensure minimal environmental impact, while her packaging reflects a conscious effort to reduce waste. Through partnerships with local artisans and organizations, she seeks to uplift marginalized voices and support livelihoods. She's passionate about this since she too started this business in her own kitchen and operated out of her home.
